I want to update to gingerbread to get cyanogenmod from hexen on froyo. My friend said that I don't have to sbf, I just have to go to my nandroid backup of the stock rom. Do I have to sbf? Or do I just do what he said?

if you have the prompt that asks you if you want to update then give it a shot, otherwise sbf to stock and ota to gb.

Ok I clicked the prompt, and it downloaded thenupdate but whneen I clicked install update it said uninstall unsuccessful:mad::mad: what should I do now?

Your going to have to sbf to stock. In order for the ota update to go through, you need stock android recovery and since you were rooted clockwork recovery is blocking it.

Find TBH.sbf. Then you will update fine.
