Of course it did! You can't OTA update when you have root or you will lose it! Or if you use some kind of root kepper... tell me you did use some kind of root keeper?
I agree it runs perfectly fine after the update. My battery life has slightly improved. At 15hrs yesterday I had 50% of battery life left. That's using 4g to look at my NFL mobile app, Facebook, Google+, email, about 50 text, and an hour of phone calls with 2.5hr screen time.
