Well, I got the Verizon update today from NC5 to NG6. I have noticed one issue that I don't like.

After unlocking using a PIN code none of my icons on the screen will work. I press and the navigation lights at the bottom come on and go off, but the program doesn't open.

If I press the button on the side and the screen goes dark then I press the front button to bring the screen back up the icons work. Maybe something else has changed.

Thoughts?

Have you restarted the device since it rebooted itself for the update?

I'm not currently using a pin on mine, but I got the update today too & I'm not having this issue.

I have restarted the device myself and it also crashed in the middle of using gReader and it restarted again.

I have turned off pin lock for now to see if that doesn't change it.

Anyone have the release notes for this release? My wife's S5 got the 4.4.4 update weeks ago, and I just got the second one for my S4 that did not take it past 4.4.2.

It was small. Let me find it.

I wonder if I might have a stay program not wanting to play well after unlocking. I will give it a few days and see if things change.

Keep us posted. "My Verizon" wouldn't work over wifi for me after the update. That's the only real issue I've seen so far.

Well. It just rebooted again. I did a battery pull this time.
Hate to say it & I'm sure you know, but if it's not a rogue app, you may have to do a factory reset.

Have you checked your RAM/running apps/etc?

I agree. Haven't had to do a factory reset in over a year.
I actually just did one a few days ago. I was playing around with Knox so I could get my work stuff setup in there instead of on the main phone & it doesn't appear I can do everything I want to, so I disabled Knox & the phone started tweaking out, turning wifi completely off every time I turned around. Sucks because I gave up unlimited data to get the note 4, so I've been keeping mobile data off. Missed lots of notifications.

& now I'll have to set a phone up again in a week when the note comes.
