Wifi Tether Droid

Running a rooted 2.2 droid and using the free Wireless Tether app.

My ipod can see the wireless tether, connect and browse the internet.

My work laptop though, cannot see the wireless tether. The work computer uses Cisco Secure Services client for wireless connections and can usually pick up connections just fine(neighbors, starbucks, etc). For some reason can't see the droid's wireless tether. Any ideas on why not?

I have stock 2.1moto Droid and the app c:motdroidhoriz:alled easytether I had to download the same software to my PC don't know if it might b the same in ur case.but it's not the wireless one though

My guess would be that there is a Group Policy Object (GPO) on your work laptop prohibiting it from connecting to ad-hoc wifi connections.
Check with your work IT department to be sure.
