4 white touch buttons at the bottom of DROID RAZR screen won't turn off. Ever.

I've had my DROID RAZR for about 2 1/2 years now. I'm trying to use it till it dies because if I upgrade I lose my unlimited data plan.

Anyways, the 4 buttons at the button are stuck on. No matter what. With the screen off, they are on, with the phone off, they are on, I even left my phone on until it died and couldn't even boot up and they were still on. It is very annoying and lately the battery doesnt last as long and I'm gonna put some blame on those damn lights.

Does anyone out there know a solution?

I've soft reset, safe mode, tried different dimming apps, turned the screen brightness all the way down, etc. I would like to avoid a hard reset if possible.

I think it may be time to stick a fork in it, it's done. :happy3: Your hardware appears to be the problem but it may not be worth trying to get it fixed.
