I'm only seeing faster battery drain. I updated to DP2 and lost mobile data. Icon showed LTE but signal checker said no service. Had to reboot.
Oh hey! Look at that. My mobile data is gone too. Didn't reboot after the initial install and I was home all evening yesterday on wifi, so I didn't even notice.

Mine's not even saying LTE. Rebooting now.

EDIT: Rebooting seems to have brought mobile data back for me as well.

If the 7.1.1 is rolling out, how long will it take to hit everyone? I haven't got it yet, and i'm stock. Just one other question...Will i still get the update if i take out the sim card? Thanks for any help.:p

Good question, it can actually take a bit depending on Google. First they push out the update to testers, then the ota file to manually flash (some times they swap that order), then they slowly push it via ota. I would say just keep hitting the check update in settings on the daily if you choose to just wait it out for Google to push the OTA.

According to multiple sources, the update isn't yet available for 6p's on Verizon.

No idea how they get away with that with an unlocked phone, but rumor has it that Verizon has now taken control of those updates. Makes no sense to me, unless they baked that into their Pixel exclusivity deal &/or are adding support for wifi calling or advanced calling or something...

As my brother from another mother said. 6P updated aren't happening on Verizon.

You're the one who spotted the rumor that vzw may be controlling them now.

Even if that's the case, I can't believe they're holding it after making a big deal about pushing Pixel updates when Google does.

Way to turn a great phone into the Galaxy Nexus 2.0...

I know but I was reiterating the fact that we are getting hosed.

I'm about to sideload it and tell vzw to pound it. Others have without issues.

The only difference should be the radios, so technically just down load the factory image, unzip image file and then just flash as follows.
Go into settings and click oem unlock.
reboot into bootloader

fastboot flashing unlock (unlock the bootloader which will wipe data)

fastboot flash bootloader (copy and paste bootloader from file into adb terminal)
fastboot flash recovery (c&p recovery.img file)
fastboot flash boot (c&p boot.img file)
fastboot flash system (c&P system.img file)

fastboot flashing lock to re-lock.

Basically flash everything but the radios.

With all that said, I am sure people would rather just wait vs going through the headache and having to wipe their data.
