Android 4.0 update...

Soot soot !!! Thanks for the tip Ray, worked like a charm. I was getting tired of tapping on the "check for update" button. Now I'm a happy camper :)

Sent from my Xoom running ICS :) :). :)

No problem. I'm sure I wasn't the only one that got tired of clicking on the check now button.

Thought I'd post an update: I woke up this morning to find out that an update has been pushed out to me. I tried the suggestion from ‘The_Other_Ray’, I even tried it more than once as mentioned in the linked post. Thanks for sharing the post as it seemed to have worked for others.

Just spent 10-15 mins with it so far. I can see that it is a lot more responsive than Gingerbread was. Looking forward to spending more time with it and enjoying the better user experience as touted by other on this and other forums.

I didn't do much with it after the update. I just used the kindle app and a bit of browsing. It did seem to run a bit smoother but I'll get more hands on time with it later today

Got it, but now some of my games don't work :( Oh well.

Hopefully devs will keep up with their apps in order to be ICS compatible, we'll see in time, I guess.

There's no option for bookmarks list view in browser?! Anyone catch something I'm missing here?

Screenshot, hold power and volume down for three seconds. Try to hold power button a millisecond before holding both together. Awesomeness!

Now with ICS, just drag your apps from the app drawer and place them on top of each other to create folders on your home screen.
