Android wear update

Nothing on our watches yet. From what PereDroid posted from Reddit (we have three different threads for this update ) users there have reported that the new Tiles functionality is part of a Wear OS app update. As we have said before.....way to over complicate this update process Google. Is this a Wear OS app update, a watch system update, totally automatic? At least they are still trying to keep Wear OS relevant and provide some new stuff.

Google must be rolling this out by watch model? We both received the Wear OS app update that had the new Tiles functionality in the description a few days ago, but no Tiles on our watches. I woke up this morning and both watches had a yellow ring lit up on the right side of the watches. Swiped right and there was the new Tiles with an option to configure.

I agree, it's a minor change but definitely welcome. It's good to see that Google is not giving up on Wear OS and trying to introduce new useful functionality.

We haven't had a single post about Wear OS around here in many months. This thread always had the most input from different folks, so I figured I would post here.

Who still owns and wears a smartwatch, and which one? Wear OS, Tizen or Apple?

I bought a Fossil Sport back in March when I bought my Pixel 4. It runs Wear OS pretty smoothly and I wore Fossil watches all the time before smart watches.

Some months ago I switched to a Samsung Watch Active 2. I dearly miss the Krona Sunlight watchface and haven't found a great equivalent, but, sad to say, otherwise I can't say I miss Wear OS all that much.

Hi Sajo. You are right, thanks for not letting this thread die :)
I still own my good old Original Huawei Watch because it is, after 5 years, still the most good looking smartwatch out there. I replaced the battery, though. I use it with my Pixel 2, which had the battery replaced as well. Everything is working fine and I still see no need to upgrade, to be honest.

Howdy strangers!

I bought a first gen TicWatch E on ebay, brand new for around $60.

I wanted something I wouldn't care if it got destroyed while I was working.

It's a little laggy, but still does the basics just fine. I get notifications & can control media/etc with it.

I still have my Watch Urbane for dressier occasions, but don't wear it very often.

Why? In what way is it that better, in your opinion?
Cheers
