App Drawer button won't stay themed. Also GMail notification issue.

I accidentally somehow deleted the "app drawer button" between dialer and browser. I added it back in, but for some reason it keeps reverting to the stock icon, not the one I picked, or the themed one.

The other issue I'm having is when I get a gmail, it keeps flashing the light green, even though I want it to flash red.
