Could this be the answer to phones without headphone jacks?

Now I know in that video the case has a 3.5 jack attached to the case, but I could see case manufacturers modifying that design to having an iPhone or USB port connection.

To me it addresses 2 things, not just 1. A kick stand is nice at times, like when watching a YouTube video from your favorite forum while enjoying the morning coffee and getting dressed for work. The second thing I like is no more carrying those earbuds in pocket only to have the cords tangle when taking them out. To me regardless of whether the headphone jack becomes a thing of the past I like the idea.
