The blog post says that the Droid x is now supported, but I can't find the link posted on the website for the stable release. And all the sites seem to be working off of backups

Exactly. Their blog says it is now supported. I think the website might be getting updated.

Does the latest nightly include all of the new features within the 7.1 release? It is from 2 days ago...

I had actually checked at midnight when they posted the blog and the link still was not there. Even the download from GIT doesn't work

Well the nightlies were not updated and you can't even download the last one. It just tells you the page is down

Still 2ed int, but there is an active
.602 build on rootzwiki using cyanogenmod nightlies. This could mean the official could get it eventually as well

So when 7.1 becomes available is it just a wipe dalvik and flash as before? Or will I need to wipe data and cache as well?

[witty pun concerning the current ROM and custom memory script on my device]

Is there one that can be installed in the OTA bootloader?
