Disable swipe up Google search?

I don't know about other Droids(my previous phone, an Dinc2, didn't do this), but on my Razr Maxx HD, when you swipe up on the back arrow, it calls up Google search. This is very annoying when playing games like Temple Run, where you have to constantly swipe up on the screen during play. IMO, They should have taken this into consideration when putting this feature into the phone. Is there any way to disable this feature?
