How to root this bad boy ?

the baseband is : BP_C_01.09.07P

Froyo 2.2


I know I need boot strapper from Jrummy No biggie purchased it already for when I had the Droid 2

ok thanks guys after I get it rooted an helpful tips on helping me would be great such as what custom rom you all use what settings you use on Jrummys over clocking App thanks for the HELP

Z4root works great.

There is a bootstrap app for both the 2 and X. But I don't know if there is any difference.

For a Tom try Rubix Focused, it's awesome!

I also went from D1 to the D2, and now the X.
