HTC One Awake

Since the software upgrade my husbands HTC One has been a serious battery hog. He is one of those people that actually uses his phone more for the phone and texts and previously his battery could last a couple of days. Now he can't get through a day and it is driving him nuts!!! I have searched the web and I see on other sites this has been identified as an issue. Has anyone here had this problem and found a solution?

Forgot to add that it when you check battery use what we see is that the phone is always awake even when shut off.

Cpu Spy and GSAM battery monitor are two apps I always use and help me track any apps that are misbehaving...also check accounts and sync ...check to see if anything is on and syncing you don't need such as Google photos or music ..location reporting is another hog ..

I would charge phone to full ...reboot ..and with both apps I mentioned let it sit for awhile without use to see if anything shows up ..Good luck and keep us posted ...
