Icons disappear when moving on home scr

I am sure this is me. How do i move an icon from one location to another? When I try, they simply disappear.

Similar question: How do i move a widget from one home screen to another? I have tried long clicking to select, followed by dragging it beyond the screen border. Nothing happens.. What should I be doing differently?

basically, reboot. Nice, huh.

But I can now move icons. woohoo!! and resize widgets.

I started a thread over in Droid X cause of the same issue.

Folder issues: Created Folder, added widgets. Now when i move them they delete

This sux.....

I found this to happen when you create a folder then add to it....

Guess i will go to MOTO site and read the what they say..

Rebooting helped. for now. Not sure what will recreate the issue. And what is a reboot or two per day?

(I'm trying to be positive. My last thread was shut down... )

But you're right. This sucks. Maybe it will get fixed in the pending OTA.

Here's the funny part. I thought so little of moto's UI, that I thought the action was expected. lol I never thought to look for a bug. just assumed it was more evidence of crappy design.

Issues seems to have been resolved via OTA 1.13.604 update. just coincidence? not sure. But I can no longer cause the issue to occur.

if it does come back.. Kill the "Social networking" app. if it's not running, then start it and then kill it..
