issues with pattern lock with ICS

Has anyone figured out how to keep the slide unlock with pattern security? I've been searching and it seems to be gone from our version.

I think I know what you mean: uncheck "power button locks instantly".

No what I mean is if I choose pattern lock when I turn my phone on all I see is the pattern. I would like to see the swipe screen with unlock, camera, text and then have to enter the pattern when I click unlock. Similar to the behavior onbl gingerbread

I had to uncheck "lock when power button"is pressed, working good now.


Edit:i haven't seen a way to use lock pattern w/o unlocking the phone.
