Native Droid X Calendar App Problem

Hi, I exported all my contacts so i could easily edit them on the computer. I then tried to delete all the contacts by clearing contacts data in Settings > applications. I also backed up and uninstalled backup assistant. I forgot to backup the contacts app and now its all messed up. When i tried to import the update contacts, it doesnt show them. Is there any way I can download and reinstall contacts via an apk or something? Thanks
