How's the overall experience now that you've had it for a little bit?

I've been planning on writing a little something up, but haven't had the time ... Been really enjoying it! Rooted it this past weekend and now it's even better without ads LOL
But seriously, it's a really great device given the price point! Battery life has been fine and drastically improved after 3/4 days. It really charges stupid fast ... like unbelievably fast! Really can't think of any negatives to say ...

Only just over a week left to see how the Nexus devices officially play out, the wait is tough. Especially hearing things like that.

Some Snapseed on this one ...

That shot is awesome. Only issue I see is on his right side and right of his leg where the bright sun reflecting off his golden coat is overexposed and causes the strange yellow cast. Selectively metering to a brighter area of the subject would have eliminated that.

Think that may have been my lack of Snapseed editing skills lol. I was going to post the original for comparison, but I guess I deleted it ... I'm OCD like that lol

Ok, it did look like perhaps over saturation from being edited but I wasn't sure. A histogram would prove or disprove that theory.

Not bad Yankin.
but when folks talk about low light issues on a smartphone, it's when a picture is taken without using the flash. Let's see how she performs in some of those indoor low light shots. It is nice to see Moto stepping up their game....you've taken some great shots so far.

Well then, IMO, the issue isn't the camera/device it's the knuckle head that didn't turn the flash on LOL

But .... challenge accepted!!

Here's one I snapped REAL quick yesterday ... Not super low light, but it was overcast and rainy all day and no lights on inside.
And again, this was a super quick shot as I didn't want to miss the moment ... quick twist of the wrist to launch camera (such an awesome feature!), point and shoot. Also, after I took it I realized that I had the camera set on 16MP not 21 ... think it came out pretty good.

Only thing I did was crop it to eliminate my hairy leg LOL

Take one where there is pitch black and you're trying to focus on signs. This is where iphones blow my maxx away.

Like this.
