it says download a SBF file of my choice.. and i dont quite understand this
I dont know if im suppose to download a firmware file of SBF or SBF flashes or whatever. theres so many and so many different versions of it.

im trying to root my motorola milestone, currently in South Korea.
I know that im suppose to pick one from South-east asia section but
I dont know which one for sure..

search for the one that is labelled as south korea or has the name of ur service provider. whether u should use 2.0 or 2.1, it depends. hope this helps :) and make sure u do a nandroid backup first!!!

The best one to use (IMO) is THIS one.
It is the service version for South-East Asia of 2.1 SHOLS_U2_02.36.0. So it's the newest for where you are.

What you're looking at is a few things:
Android version (2.0, 2.01, 2.1)
Service/Non-service (service does not erase your personal data, non-service does)
Region it is for (South-East Asia, UK, Canada, etc)
Build number (updated release). With build numbers, higher number means newer.

Hope that helps out.
