To get better battery life tips:

1) Down load app: (https://market.android.com/details?id=net.andirc.lteonfoff&feature=search_result) set to CDMA only prl and when you want to go back to LTE set it to CDMA+LTE/EVDO

2) Download set cpu
open app and hit auto detect
Click profiles and check enable
Hit the plus sign and add screen off. Set the screen off to at least (600-700 , some people set it lower but personally I keep it at 600-700)

3) Download either Titanium backup (https://market.android.com/details?id=com.keramidas.TitaniumBackup&feature=search_result) or bloat freezer (https://market.android.com/details?id=com.bloatfreezer&feature=search_result) And freeze the bloatware that you do not use

4) go into settings, account&sync, and turn off back ground data when not in use.

5) optional and risky. Install a lv kernel if your phone can handle it.
