Is there a bright LED on it?

There is a green light and it's next to my bed on the night stand and I don't notice it. It doesn't light the room at night like some I've had.

I'll take a pic of it when I get home, as I look at the pictures on the Amazon link, I don't notice a light showing, I may be thinking of the TYLT Qi dock that's got a light.

My last flat Qi charger for the S5/S6 had a light that was perfect as a night light in the living room, no need to flip on the lights at night, ended up covering it with electrical tape because it lit the room so much during movies.
It also had a tone that would alert you, and raise the dead, if the phone wasn't perfectly aligned... It finally met the bottom of the round file when the placement of the phone became impossible w/o a tone...

Those are both very nice.... I would probably end up putting some tape over the light.

I did that on a really bright one, but I'd bet you'd not even notice it. You can see in the photo that they don't even show in the dock shadows. No beeps etc when placed / removed.

Know that this stand doesn't come with a fast charge power adapter, just a usb cable, you'll have to use the one that came with your phone or purchase another fast charge adapter, that's why I got the other, comes with the adapter. Hope it works great.

That works on a note 7 even though it does not mention Note 7 in the description?

Yes, it works with any Qi phone or charging case, and it works through all my cases, even the wallet case...

It's always good to have a bunch of Fast Charging blocks.
I have the one from the S6 and both from the Note 7.1 and 7.2... Guess I returned a regular charger instead...
Oops plus the Aukey fast.... Travel is easy having one for each bag...
