The Galaxy Note 8 Emperor Edition will be limited to Asia.

If a recent rumor out of Weibo is to be believed, Samsung will launch a special edition of the Galaxy Note 8 in its home market. Dubbed the Galaxy Note 8 Emperor Edition, the phone will feature 6GB of RAM and 256GB storage. Samsung is set to launch the special edition alongside the standard model, which is expected to feature 6GB of RAM and 64GB storage.

Galaxy Note 8 Emperor Edition could offer 6GB of RAM and 256GB storage

But I'm interested to see how all these "extra long" aspect ratio phones sell. Just one more thing for me to hate with the huge "hand and a half" displays.

And it will be self-fulfilling, as once again the sales "demand" will be confirmed due to the lack of other choices (as, I think, both the S8 and Note have the 18.5:9 aspect ratios).

brings up another possible issue, if the phone is too long and skinny, will there be another bendgate :)

I don't see people putting a Note into their back pocket, primarily because of the s-pen. Hey, i wonder if you can use the s-pen when you butt dial.:D:D:D

good point. sure would not want that s-pen to pop out then sit on it...as far as b dial, I guess it would depend how agile it is :p
