Motorola has been killing it in the budget category with their Moto G lineup. The Moto G4 was a hit last year and Motorola looks to improve on the lineup even further with the upcoming next iteration. We now know what Motorola has up their sleeves with the yet to be released device. The phone has been leaked thanks to a Romanian who is trying to sell a Moto G5 Prototype. The phone has some pretty respectable specs for a budget phone. According to the leaker we are looking at a 5.5" full HD display, Snapdragon 625 Octa-Core processor with Adreno 506, 13MP rear and 5MP front cameras, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, Android 7.0 Nougat, Fingerprint Scanner and large 3,080mah battery.
If the specs hold up and don't change before release this is just a slight update to the current version which sports a Snapdragon 617 and has options for 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. As far as the design is concerned the phone looks pretty slim, has a large circular camera (like we have seen in the Moto Z lineup), this phone also has a USB Type-C port and headphone jack. The guy is asking $388. He also has to be either very brave or stupid for listing Motorola's prototype with all engineering marks visible.
