Yeah supposedly support is supposed to come via the LTE-A stuff they are implementing. I

I'm back now on my Moto X (1st generation) until the Nexus 6 comes out since my father allowed his razr m to fall in the pool yesterday. I gave him my Moto X 2014 and am awaiting the Nexus 6 now.

Yes, you're right. We are expecting an update which is "promised" by the end of the year. We will see. At least three of the brand new flagship phones, the Droid Turbo, the Moto X and the Sony Xperia Z3V are all subject to the same limitation.
