The leather is pretty nice. A lot smoother then I though it would be.
Oh, and I got BROWNS Orange as my accent color. Looks good!

I was torn between leather and the ebony or whatever the dark wood was on the Moto X before I went for the 6P instead. Interested to hear how you're liking it after some time has passed. Sajo is right, I've seen pictures/etc. of the leather backs after a few months or so and they seem to age very nicely.

Rumor has it that the MM update was halted due to issues. Rumor, but it's on the Verizon forum and Moto Forum. As always, I take that with a grain of salt. But a lot of people can't download the update, some have part 1 and can't get part 2, so there may be some truth there.

I wish I would have picked leather for mine. I like the Ballistic nylon, but good leather aged well has a cool look. If there is still Moto Maker with the next Droid or next Moto X I will get leather.

Hmmm. Lift For Moto Voice feature actually works well on this phone. Never got it to work once on the old one. Definitely got a bad one.

It worked on mine when I first set it up. I just didn't find it useful, but that's a personal choice...not knocking the functionality.

Hopefully you get Part 1 and Part 2 that way. I have read it is hit & miss. If the update was pulled because of issues.....it may not be stable

Update was pulled because of issues related to charging, that is...not charging. I know this to be true because mine suffered the problem. I now have a replacement refurbished Turbo 2 and it's stuck on Lollipop.
