Watch TV from Thunderbolt?

I can't find the correct combination of cables to hook a Thunderbolt to the TV. Has anyone has success with this?

As far as I know, it is not possible. There is a way wirelessly that I got to work once, but it was a little to much trouble to be worth it. I'm fairly certain I used my PS3.
