WSJ app stopped working

I am running Android 4.4 and since yesterday, everytime I try to use the WSJ app, a message pops up saying that "Unfortunately WSJ has stopped working"

- The app was working fine for a while and suddenly stopped working yesterday
- I haven't updated my OS or installed any new apps
- I cleared the cache, force stopped and reinstalled a few times - still the same error

I can't understand why this is happening? Can't be a WSJ app issue since it was working fine a few days and I haven't updated it.

I prefer Google Play Newstand, anyway....it will remember your subcription info. Very underrated app (and probably amazing on a tablet).

Is it possible that the issue is with the WSJ server that the app connects to?
