Z4 root gone?

Settings> Applications> Development> allow unknown sources or something to this effect. My phone isn't handy so I can't verify directly, but it's in the Applications settings somewhere.

Then you use an .apk installer or a file manager like Astro to actually install the program.

Z4root story

My z4root.apk file is vanishing from my computer every time after I downloaded it. Sounds a bit paranoia but it's for real. Now I' trying to figure out what's going on.
From another pc (running Fedora17) it was ok and it even help me to root an Arnova.
