An easy question ... I hope

Long story short, I am upgrading to the Razr Maxx before Big Red bangs me out of my unlimited plan, and I am going to sell my Droid 2 after I upgrade. It's rooted, so I will SBF it back to stock before I sell it, but how do I format the SD card before I sell it? Is there an app or an easy way to do it? I already backed up the contents of my SD card to my laptop. Thanks in advance for any help! :hail:

I'm not super familiar with the d2, but you should be able to go into settings, storage, format sdcard. That will wipe the SD card.

In the Storage section of the System Settings in the phone, there should be an option to format the SDCard.

I just looked, and "format SD card" is shaded out and I can't tap it ... it does have an option for "Unmount SD card" for safe removal

Yes I believe you may have to unmount before you can format.
