Android Auto Support Coming For 30 Kia and Mercedes-Benz Cars

Android Auto will be adding support for a couple more automakers. Both Mercedes-Benz and Kia will no be supported by Android Auto. There will be more than 30 cars included in the lineup. These cars will support the dashboard display software. You may need to get Android Auto installed at your nearest Kia dealer if you already own one of the supported vehicles.

I'd really like to find one of the aftermarket head units with Android Auto for a reasonable price. Last I saw, the "low-end" Pioneer unit with AA was still over $800.

Just an FYI, Android Auto support is now shipping in the 2017 Ford Escape, 2017 Ford Fusion and 2017 Ford F150.

I have a 2016 F150 with SYNC 3 and the update to enable AA will be coming by EOtY.

I'm actually might buy a new Jeep tonight that only has A/C and a few other things. I'm going to put an aftermarket double din in it. If you search on Amazon they have head units from no name Chinese companies that are essentially cheap tablets running Android Lollipop. They cost $200-$300.
