Best College Noise Cancelling Headphones

I'm looking for the best College Noise Cancelling headphones preferably with an option to toggle cancel noise and a detachable wire like BEATS.

People say Bose is not that great, any suggestions?

I really like Bose. Their stuff is kinda overpriced IMO though.
