I have the qmadix case I have to say it it's probably the best case that I have ever have and the kick stand is actually metal not plastic

probably too late, but I like this case: Qmadix: Snap On Cover with Holster for Motorola Bionic

This is nice.....but does not fit the O.P. Band/bumper/Edge

bump .. I love the iphone bumper case posted in the OP. My son has that for his iphone and I would love this type of bumper. I also hate cases and have been case-less for several years (OG droid and Bionic). I have dropped mine twice and the edges got knicked but otherwise ok. Has anyone found anything close?? ie: NO case back, just bumpers around the edge..
