camera shutter sound

After getting caught several times, I need a solution for this too!

I Have a Motorola i1 And was having the same Prob Found the solution on one of the other Posts ---> http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-hacks/23107-droid-remove-camera-click-shutter-sound.html Tried all kinds of apps even some Paid ones & On some Phones The " Camera Sound " Is Locked You need root & an App like
Rootexplorer to rename the files & etc just Be Carefull what you Change & Good Luck

My DROID pro has an option in the standard settings to turn off the shutter sound. No root or app needed.

I have a max HD. loaded camera zoom fx turned off sound but still get shutter sound any input on how to stop this

disable it in the default camera app.

Open the default camera app, then tap the cog when on the little menu bar, and un tick the shutter tone.

Un check the box, take a picture with the stock camera app, and there should be no shutter sound.

If it still happens in the third party app, check those settings.

Sometimes you can't disable the sound in some third party apps, believe it or not, in some states its illegal to take pics in public without the shutter tone.
