can no ttransfer files from laptop

Hi all, even after 7 months I can not transfer files from my laptop (xp professional 64bit). I downloaded samsung drivers and loaded on laptop. It recognizes the phone but it wants to copy only media files as a camera, but not actual files. I used the same drivers on differnt computer it works great. Any body has issue like that.
