I don't know much about the fascinate, however when I exported my contacts from my Motorola Napoleon WinMo phone to Outlook and then a .csv file, I/we then set up a 'my contacts' in gmail and then imported them there. That way we didn't have every single person ever emailed showing up on the Droid phone. That's all I have, I'm sure you can find more info here:
