CM10 Lockscreen slider

Just flashed my Nexus for the first time and I'm loving it. My only pet peeve is the lock slider. On my stock 4.0.4, the lock radiated "ripples" outward and looked very sleek. On the CM10 version, it shoots out sparkles in all directions and looks very gaudy. Is this a JB quirk, or a CM10 design? Either way, is there a way to change it back to how it was? Thanks!

That is stock Jelly Bean. There is probably a way to theme it, I don't recall seeing it done though.
