confused on downloading my music to Bionic

If I put the usb cord in the PC and hit Windows Media it downloads alllllll of the songs there. I just want to download about 40 songs and not 1000. How do I do that?

I even put the Bionic in and dragged the songs to the Sync column but it still just downloaded EVERY single MP3 on my Windows Media

Any steps would be appreciated

I don't know if there are any pros or cons to my way of doing it or not so feel free to flog me afterwards. I've always had trouble with wmp synching correctly, so I mount as usb mass storage, find the files I want, and copy them to the music file on my sd card. But like I said, there may be quicker/easier ways, but that's my cup o tea

Go to windows media player, go to the sync setings and turn them off. I got tired of tge same issue so I manage my music while my phone is in disk drive mode via the my music folder lol
