You always have to install roms via safestrap. I would use 3.11.

1 boot to stock rom,
2 uninstall safe strap
3 update root
4 install ota rootkeeper and backup root and temp unroot
5 install ota in stock recovery(not safestap)
6 reboot
7 re root with ota
8 reinstall safestrap(may need to install busybox)
9 install new rom in safestrap

I think I might have replaced my stock rom with eclipse. (is that Possible?) Can I wipe data and cache and flash this over eclipse to get the new Kernel? Or I'm I going to have to sbf and then Update? Gosh, I haven't felt this noobish since my first days with the D2!

sbf to 217, reroot
ota rootkeep
apply update
ota rootkeep
install ss
