I just replaced the broken digitizer on my DX. When taking the gorilla glass out of the front assembly, it was glued down. I had to blowdry the edges to get the glue pliable enough to seperate. Unfortunately while doing this the glue ripped in multiple areas. I sat the glass with the remaining glue, but it leaves quite a few spots in a poor position. I can press down a corner and the glass will give in a bit.
I was annoyed, but content with it until I realized that I just left myself wide open for water damage between the LCD and digitizer as well.
What kind of glue or tape would people recommend using?
