i got my maxx free after receiving a text from VZW saying i was eligible for a free upgrade to any 4GLTE phone.the razor maxx had only been out for about a week or so.i was already on unlimited shared data plan.my partner has the text on his "dumbphone"(yes flip phone). Verizon has been hounding him for months to upgrade to any phone free &keep shared unlimited data plan. been trying to get him yo take smartphone plunge for 3yrs .any suggestions?

Just return it and tell them two in a row displays severe quality control and that you well do research on the current models and get one later.

Wow here's the deal until they come out with a new data bandwidth whatever 4g phone you own is top dog and I say this going from a droidx the the raze Maxx the only difference was I gota crazy battery along with 4g also the screen to me was better on the X. ICS is coming some day and it will be all tied up so save your money for that new data bandwidth - super 4g LTE +++ or something like that. Hell half the time my screen needs to be cleaned from all the touching I do always feeling her up.

Not really since I was just trying to keep my unlimited plan and I couldn't afford paying $300 for a new phone (which the HD will probably be)
