I uninstalled the old one, wiped caches, and installed the new one and still nothing... maybe it's because I'm on froyo? Although the new music app works fine... hmm.. It'd be really nice to have that new google+ widget

That was my fault thats how he got his google music widget to work ...I dont have the google + widget either I am guessing when ICS hit the world A update will be pushed out to the Google+ appl & we will have a widget ...witch makes sense ....since this has not been officially released by google yet

Really I have been posting with it just fine.....are you running froyo or gingerbread rom .......my buddy still has a OG DROID running a GB rom I believe Bugless .........his is working like a champ

Apps installed to the SD card cannot have a widget, move it to the phone under "Manage Applications" and presto... Widget.

Android should tell you this when you install an app to the SD card!!! (But it doesn't)

It's on the phone with no widget. I even moved it to the SD card then back. Still didn't work.

No big deal. Thanks for the suggestions.

great find..installed both on my Tbolt...no problems even though i forgot to uninstall previous version of G+(FC then went back and opened normally)

Hmm... Wipe the app data, uninstall, reinstall and make sure it's not on the SD card.

I've had some issues with force closes when modifying/viewing contacts since installing the Music and G+ apps. I had attributed it to the Music app, but perhaps it's Google+...
