Finding my Network Security Key for tethering

HELP PLEASE! I am trying to tether my Droid M. I am successful on my phone, meaning it shows my hotspot is active. I try to connect my laptop to my phone connection, it says "NETWORK SECURITY KEY MISMATCH" I know it wants me to enter my key code......but I don't know the code!!!! I don't remember ever getting one, OR making one!!! What can I do??? Any help is greatly appreciated

If you are using your home network, your router should have a button that sends the network key. Check your router's instructions before doing anything.
