Free wireless tethering hack for Droid 3. Would it work on Droid 2?

Would this work on the Droid 2.
Droid 2 Running Official Verizon update for Gingerbread.
This method is for the Droid 3.

I seen post last year about different people using it on Droid 2 global with mixed reviews on it So I don't see why not. Just be careful not to mess up your radio

Alright im going to give it a try then. I am getting a new phone anyway soon, but i was hoping i can sell this one but i need to tether and this is literally the only way.

I have done this with the droid 2 global and had absolutely no problem but i would not use the Droid 3 instructions, google "droid 2 radiocomm hack". i dont want to discourage you but if you mess up this hack nothing will bring your phone back from the dead (that is my understanding)
the instructions are simple just take your time when doing it
