I'd be really surprised if mine did. It's still running a 3yr old JellyBean ROM. No updates

I guess this is OK. Near Cleveland airport.

This is the best I've ever seen at home on lte. I had to run it again just in case it was still using WiFi even though I turned it off. Maybe my WiFi speeds aren't twice my lte speeds after all.

Although, I ran one on lte from my Note the other day while home for lunch & I couldn't even get 10 Mbps down.

Not sure how it affects the results,if at all, but it's raining pretty good here.

Other people using their phones?
Idk what the radius of coverage is for one tower, or even exactly where the one closest to me is, but my immediate area isn't very densely populated. No bars anywhere near here, which I'd expect to see effects of other people using their phones.

20 down or so is about my average on lte.

Just got 65 down when I switched WiFi back on. That's the best I've seen there too. That averages about 40 down.

No need. I don't get emails any faster on a 60Mbps connection. If I'm doing data backups or downloading system images I will but for the past two months I've been mobile data only. More or less to see what my avg use is if I get project fi.

My speed tests on mobile fluctuate pretty good. Home PC can nail the same speed over and over.

I'd have to pay so much more a month if I didn't use WiFi at home. The Note 4 had the option to track WiFi usage just like it does for mobile data. The few times I actually looked at it, I used about an average of 20GB a month, in addition to 3-4GB of mobile data.

I got lucky & took advantage of the double data promo a while back, so I pay what I was for 2GB for 4 & still have 1 promotional GB per month for another year.

The loose math I did when they announced the new plans would have me paying more, because I'd have to up it to 6 each month to be safe when my usage is a bit heavier.

I average 8GB a month. Luckily my UDP doesn't matter but with the hikes, its time to save money and cut data usage.

I let my UDP go last year when I got the Note 4 so I could get the payment plan. At that time, my usage was under 2GB a month & that included updating apps whenever I wanted on mobile data, even games that recommended WiFi only to say data.

Now that I have my truck & stream all music instead of having the satellite radio that's in the car I gave the wife, I obviously use more. But, we spend a lot of time at home. I haven't hit my 5GB limit & don't feel that I've missed out on watching a video or listening to music or anything any time I wanted to, so I don't regret it. But I may have to look further into the 6GB/mo plan costs before I lose my extra GB.

The LTE speeds at home vary so much from early morning till bedtime.
Check the difference from yesterday afternoon when I got home from work to this morning.
I sometimes see less than 1mbs around supper time.
