How to update rooted milestone?

Hi guys, I heard 2.2 update is coming out next week. So how can i get this update with my rooted milestone? Will "Setting > Update Now"work?

Firstly, Motorola Europe announced on Facebook that they were going to conduct a limited user trial to see what more work they have to do for the 2.2 update. They still intend to roll out the update starting at the end of the year. So, unless you're one of the lucky few selected for the trial you'll have a bit longer to wait - as if we haven't waited long enough...

I think when the update becomes available you'll be able to update via the About Phone > System updates check and agreeing to the download. I have a rooted UK Milestone and recently received a 2.1 bug fix update using that method. The update unrooted my phone, but I was able to root it again.
