I believe the Droid Pro is being discontinued and no, it will not officially see android 4.0

No single core phone is getting it

Any timeline on ics or a new update that actually fixes the data drops?

What exactly is the data drop issue? I don't believe i have this issue, but I'm curious. How can someone tell its the phone and not the carrier? My wife's iphone has data issues from time to time it's not a moto or android.

There is no timeline yet but best guesses are between 2 to 4 months fro ICS.

The next official update will probably start patching out to users by the end of the month and does have an upgrade to the LTE/radios so the data connectivity should improve. There is a leak of the next update that has been flashed by a handful of users and they have reported more stable data and smoother transition from 3g to 4g and back to 3g.

This phone will only continue to get better as Motorola is obviously making an effort to push updates quickly.

Moving to the ics forum.

DROID RAZR MAXXIMIZED!!!! PREPARE TO BE VANQUISHED!!!

This has been covered about a million times in multiple threads on this forum... The update goes out in waves, many people do not have it yet, it may/probably will take about a week for it to be pushed to everyone. If you really cannot wait there's a pretty easy way to just install the update yourself, do this at your own risk of course: http://www.droidforums.net/forum/dr...-installation-guide-droid-razr-razr-maxx.html
