IDK if i bricked my phone or what. someone please help.

Okay so today my dad went to verizon without me knowing to switch my droid x with an iphone 4. the switch was successful but then they tried switching my moms old phone to the droid x and now it keeps resetting itself. I am rooted (my first mistake was not unrooting didnt think it was a problem) I have the liberty gingerbread leak. Is there any way i can fix this or is it totally bricked because i cant get into recovery mode to factory reset it just turns itself off and then resets. Any help. with a link to a guide or anything like that would be so great. Thanks

Put into the bootloader and just SBF it. Search the forums for "how to SBF Droid X" if you want a guide.

Could you provide a little more detail than "it resets itself"? What exactly happens when you try to put it into the bootloader?

Hold camera both volume buttons and power until you see the phone blink, let off and you will be in the bootloader

ive gotten the bootloader up. im sorry for not putting out enough information but i also downloaded a linux file that im supposed to put on a c-d right?

SBF the DX back to stock using RSD Lite. Search "How to sbf droid x stock" on google.
