just got droid 2. need help with security.

i have to put in a security password after 20 minutes of phone on idle. I dont want to put a security password in at all. How do I dissable this. The screen unlock security I need to click on to dissable this is not clickable. It says disabled by remote phone administrator. How can I fix this.

I personally haven't seen that before but try long pressing instead of clicking.sometimes that gives you more options.

I haven't heard of that either. Do what you can to fix it, if you can't figure it out just take it to a verizon store and they'll fix it for you

Are you using a corporate email account on your phone? Doing so allows the admin of the email system set security policy requirements on your phone, including mandating the use of a password/pin.
