List of members who vow not to buy a Bionic

I thought I would start a fun thread all in good humor to post members who have become frustrated and have said they will not be purchasing a Bionic.

Whether its a case of being 'fed up' with Motorola, pentile screen hate for a device that has not even been released yet, knowing the Galaxy S2 will be better despite final specs not being finalized for the US market, griping about how much ram it does or doesn't have and how it will be utilized for web-top, damning a locked bootloader because they can't wait a month for it to be cracked, because one day past 8/4 is just too late, or just to poison a hopeful thread.

Again, in good spirited fun, lets see who will be eating their words come launch


I've read so many, but I'll start, with no particular methodology except for the last nay-sayer I've seen.

I'm pretty much going to buy whichever comes out first, the Bionic or the GS2. I've been suffering through nearly two years of the HTC Eris so I'm looking forward to a HUGE upgrade with one of these new devices.

Gave up on this phone a while ago and got the tbolt if moto could have delivered as promised a while ago things would have been much different as I might have bought the hype and phone back then... My tbolt is more than fast and the de community is outstanding! Besides there will be better phones next year and year after that "the bionic is the thrill ride that people waited line for so long that they ended up leaving the line." -my good friend

Other then hey, we'll have a new phone out this summer, no, they haven't promised anything. I just keep thinking about that when I see all the complaining and moaning this phone isn't out yet...

I'm ready for upgrade as of 7/21. It is very tempting to just getting what is out now. I want 4g. Thunderbolt maybe. Charge makes me vomit. Revolution looks nice but I feel there will be lack for development compared to the others. I am trying to wait as long as possible which would be smart.

It feels weird because the Bionic sub-forum was sort of my "home" here on DF.net for the last few months, but with the release of the phone and the fact that I didn't get one, and am still not sure if I'm ever going to get one, makes me feel out of place here now. It looks like it's time to pack up my things in the pillow case, lie it on to the end of a stick, throw it over me should, and move on over to the Prime sub-forum to start all over again. hahaha
