MMS vs. video resolution

Is there a way to change the video resolution on the MAXX to facilitate MMS or Email attachment? I know the HD video is too large, I'm just looking for a way to make it smaller while its recording.

Not sure if this will help or what you're looking for. But when I want to send a video, I open up the stock messaging app, select attach, capture video. Or you can use verizon messages, it has video trimmer.

Not sure how it is on the Maxx, but on the s4, the camera settings allow me to switch it to MMS file type. Have you checked the settings of the camera app?

Unfortunately, there is no settings like that. Or, at least I'm not aware of any.

They got rid of that setting on the last update when they "fixed" the camera
